About Me
- Name: Patrick
- Location: Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, United Kingdom
I'm an Engineer working in Tyne and Wear, having moved from Belfast 3 years ago. Before the move I had never lived away from home and have had to work alot of things out for myself. I'm a big fan of Ice Hockey, in particular my team the Belfast Giants who I travel to see all over the UK. I also have a beautiful fiancee Victoria with whom I live in Gateshead. I also publish a weekly Ice Hockey Podcast with my friend Aaron, available on iTunes called A View From The Bridge

Bert and Ernie in the club getting tipsy!
Right, a hell of alot has happened since our last entry, so we`ll try to update it as much as we can now and finish it off later.
So following our breakfast we decided to take a trip up the observation tower for beautiful views of Vancouver, including tagging along to a tour from a docked cruise ship.
View from North of Tower
We took a dander into Gastown of Vancouver which was full of tacky souviener shops (Claire loved it, and even bought a t-shirt), it also had a classic steam clock. It was a beautiful day so we decided to go to the beach and watch the roller hockey. Loads of fellas just rotating in the game (once again, Claire loved it!). And a volleyball game all at the side of the beach in blistering heat.

With the heat we dipped our toes in the Pacific Ocean to try and cool down, before going for some liquid refreshment in Doolins... ANOTHER Irish bar, but not as good as the last one.
We had noticed a super market from the SkyTrain, so stopped off, it was a Chinese one, but it had enough for us to get our lunch and breakfast the next day.
We returned to the tower for sun set and night views of the city finished the day with a pint back in Doolins. We were t be picked up the next morning to start our Moose tour.
